Ramadhan is coming. The month that can transform muslims to be the better muslims,if we perform well, insya Allah.

The Signs Lab brings to you the Ramadhan special activities for kids ‘D.I.Y. Toys
with Joy’. During the sessions the kids will be guided by our well trained trainer
to create various kinds of toys from simple materials (recycled materials, papers, etc.). Throughout the ‘toys making’ sessions the kids will be also introduced to simple science theory.

Since Ramadhan is normally considered as the ‘hard’ test for the kids (hunger                             &   thirst), then the participation in this ‘fun’ and ‘cool’ educational activities,
insya Allah will make them enjoy the fasting days. The sessions will be conducted in bilingual (Malay&English)

The Player

Director, Dr. Ariza Bt. Mohamed

Dr. Ariza is an obstetrician-gynecologist by profession, specializing in infertility. She received her medical degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, and her Master’s Degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the same university. She was a lecturer at the Hospital University Kebangsaan, Bangi. She received her training in infertility at Jordan Islamic Hospital, Jordan.

Apart from being a resident obstetrician-gynecologist at Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital, Dr. Ariza has written books on pregnancy, one of which was also published and distributed in Indonesia. She is currently working on a book on hands-on Islamic science education for young children.

She is often invited to speak for lectures or talks on women’s health.Dr. Ariza is a member of the PPIM (Persatuan Perubatan Islam Malaysia), as well Mercy Malaysia.

It has been her fondest wish to be part of a movement that would produce children who could bring back the glory of the golden years of Islam, where scholars like Ibnu Sina and Ar-Razi were able to influence and contribute significantly to science and technology.

She believes that knowledge allows us to view the world with eyes that see beyond the physical. Knowledge allows us to see the world as it is, a place of innumerable manifestations of the divine power of Allahu ta’ala. The Quran states: “…Those who truly fear God, among His Servant, who have knowledge; for Allah is Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving” (Surah Fatir: 28).
